The purpose of this new program is to help the local governments to build a better future for the people by creating a better infrastructure. One of the ways to do this is to make sure that the people have a good, reliable, and clean water supply.
However, in many parts of India, this water supply infrastructure is still not built. This is why the Ministry of Rural Development introduced this new program to help the local governments to build the water infrastructure.
